I read a interest article on activities to do with children indoor. It was a list of 75 things but some of the article's activities were redundant and many were "girly"... i.e.) Alex isn't interested in playing dress up or playing with dolls. So I thought that maybe I could get some help and get a list going of as many indoor activities as we could come up with. Some of the activities might be too young for Alex, but they might be helpful to someone who reads this blog... so don't hesitate to add any ideas.
I have a bunch of scrabble tiles and had Alex put together words using the tiles.
Recently we put socks into a ball and had an indoor sock fight.
We took an umbrella in the shower and a super bouncy ball.
We cook... a lot.
Play with dried beans and measuring cups to learn to measure amounts.
Read books
We used the Nike fit Training Center app to make a "gym" Alex was my trainer.
If you have any other ideas please comment and I can add them to the list.
