This week Patrick and I went with his section (section f) to a vacation spot in Maine. Alex was the only kid in the whole section who got to go. He was on his very best behavior the entire time that he was on the retreat. As a result he won some big fans and we got many offers to babysit. (Mommy and Daddy are thrilled about that.) Our baby monitor worked very well in maine. We were able to leave the monitor in his room and then take the speakers with us to the dance parties each night. The party was loud but the speakers had colored light wich flashed if he made noise. (Pretty cool huh!) Lucky for us Alex slept peacefully through the night. On Saturday we went to a Barbecue... but it rained. So actually a couple people from the section huddled on the deck in the rain while we all enjoyed some football on the tv, billiards, and mingling inside where it was warm.
